The first CKB Community Fund DAO Web5 Track property team, organized by CKB Eco Fund, serves for one year.

After the property team runs for one year, fully community-based elections will be opened, with each property team serving for half a year.

Position and Mission

DAO Property is a procedural service and facilitation team trusted by the community, funded by DAO, and accountable to all voters. As a neutral service provider and process facilitator, it provides high-quality operations, supervision, and technical support for community governance.

Core Responsibilities

According to the position and mission of DAO Property, its core responsibilities revolve around its procedural powers.

Proposal Lifecycle Management:
  • Proposal Guidance and Standardization: Provide clear proposal templates and assist applicants in improving proposals.
  • Organize Community Inquiry: Before proposals enter voting, responsible for organizing community AMAs or public debates.
Supervision and Reporting:
  • Milestone Verification: For proposals that have received funding, responsible for verifying their milestone deliverables.
  • Publish Verification Reports: At each milestone node, publicly publish verification reports to the community.
Transparency and Communication:
  • Treasury Asset Transparency: Responsible for operating and maintaining asset dashboards based on UTXO Global multi-signature wallets.
  • Information Reach: Ensure all important governance information effectively reaches community members.

Power Boundaries

Property team members do not have the authority to approve proposals or any voting decision-making power. All their actions aim to ensure fairness, transparency, and efficiency in the governance process, and present the most complete and neutral information to community decision-makers.

  • No Decision Rights: DAO Property team does not have the authority to approve proposals or any voting decision-making power. They are 'servants' of community decision-making and governance, not 'approvers'.
  • No Interpretation Rights: DAO Property team has no authority to interpret or arbitrate rule disputes, and can only strictly execute procedures according to written rules passed by the community.
  • Fund Responsibilities: Property team has no autonomous financial authority. Their fund-related responsibilities are limited to:
    • After community voting approves a project, notify the main treasury multi-signers according to procedures to allocate the total project budget to the corresponding project execution wallet.
    • As multi-signers of project execution wallets, after each milestone is confirmed by community voting, fulfill the procedural obligation of signature payment together with other multi-signers.
  • Voting Rights: As community members, property team members retain the right to exercise personal voting on all proposals based on their voting weight.
